Blush Dreaming is part of my Sage Advice Collection was born from a journey through trauma to a better place. 

We all have periods of stress, anxiety and calamity in our lives. What helped me move through that period is the basis for my Sage Advice Collection.

Blush Dreaming is a reminder to self to be gentle and kind to oneself. So often as women, mothers, wives and workers we give, give and give to others. On the bad days what we leave for ourselves is the worn out, tired to the bone, depleted version of ourselves. Blush Dreaming is my push back, my gentle no, my calm space just for me. 

The ombre effect is about gathering strength, taking the time and snowballing that into a meaningful outcome for me. It is a reminder to be as gentle and kind to ourselves as we are to others. That saying no isn't a weakness, it's a strength. That we can enhance ourselves and dream of a better time times ahead without defining exactly what better times will be. The textured paste, with its bumps and lumps and organic feel reflects the very human condition, each mark a feeling or emotion that combines to make us who we are.

While I attribute my own meaning to all my artworks I am super happy for the viewer to find their own happiness and meaning in the pattern, colour and texture. These elements in and of themselves provide calm, restful and restorative properties to one's decor.
