INSTRUCTIONS FOR SOWING YOUR SEEDS:

SWEET PEAS

  1. Sow in Autumn to get strong Summer flowers

  2. Add hot water to your peat pot and wait for it to expand, add to the peat pot

  3. Sow the seed approximately 2 x the depth of the seed

  4. Keep in a frost free area for the germination period and keep moist

  5. Harden off seedlings by putting them out during the day to start and under shelter at night

  6. Then keep the, out at night and once they have hardened off you can plant outside

  7. Make sure they have a trellis to climb up

  8. Once they start flowering, cut the blooms every few days to prevent them from going to seed

 

ZINNIAS

  1. Sow in early Spring

  2. Add hot water to your peat pot and wait for it to expand, add to the peat pot

  3. Sow the seed approximately 2 x the depth of the seed

  4. Keep in a frost free area for the germination period and keep peat pellet moist

  5. Harden off seedlings by putting them out during the day to start and under shelter at night

  6. Then keep them out at night and once they have hardened off you can plant outside

  7. Make sure they are in a sunny area

 

COSMOS
