About the pieces in the "Emerge" series, Inge says: "I tried to create a different mood in these pieces - using the same process I do with the forest-scapes but using different colours - this time a light blue. This new colour dictated the next step - washy blocks of colour, colourful marks, it's a bit lighter, a bit whimsical and very process driven - I just let the work 'emerge' ."
